New Address, Same Mission: Summith relaunches digital platform for African Entrepreneurs

For thousands of entrepreneurs, a website is often the first point of contact with customers, investors and partners. For Summith, changing its digital address is about strengthening that connection, not changing the mission that has guided its work.

The business support platform officially transitioned from Summith.org to Summith.com on July 16, a strategic relaunch designed to give entrepreneurs, founders, SMEs, and investors a more accessible and sustainable digital home.

While the web address has changed, the organisation says its purpose remains the same: helping African businesses become more visible, credible and investment-ready.

“The only thing changing is the domain name from .org to .com,” said Lambert Binla, Co-Founder of Summith Cameroon.

“The relaunch gives us full control of our platform and allows us to work with reliable, honest and transparent partners as we continue accompanying businesses and investors to connect and leverage their assets and skills for sustainable and profitable growth.”

According to Binla, the transition is also a response to the realities facing entrepreneurs in Cameroon.

“The relaunch is the result of an agile strategic pivot to the realities of the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Cameroon, where unforeseen, man-made obstacles continue to add to the many challenges already affecting business growth,” he explained.

Building on what already works

Rather than introducing an entirely new direction, the relaunch builds on services that entrepreneurs already know while making them easier to access through a single digital platform.

Businesses visiting Summith.com will continue to find opportunities to increase their visibility, improve their credibility and prepare for investment. The platform brings together SME subscriptions, business listings, founder visibility tools, investor-readiness pathways, business insights, podcasts, newsletters, events, learning opportunities, hub bookings and community engagement.

The goal is to simplify how entrepreneurs connect with the resources and networks that support business growth.

For early-stage businesses, being visible online is no longer optional. Investors, partners and customers increasingly rely on digital platforms to discover businesses, assess credibility and explore collaboration opportunities. By strengthening its digital infrastructure, Summith hopes to make that journey smoother for the businesses it serves.

A familiar platform with a stronger foundation

The move to Summith.com is less about changing identity than strengthening the platform behind it.

By operating from a commercial domain under its full control, Summith says it will be better positioned to improve user experience, maintain long-term reliability and continue expanding the services available to entrepreneurs across Africa.

To mark the relaunch, the organisation is offering early-access benefits and selected discounts to users who register on or before the launch date.

As the new platform goes live, the message to existing and prospective users is straightforward: the address may be new, but the commitment remains unchanged.

For entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses, connect with investors and strengthen their market presence, Summith’s relaunch signals continuity with a stronger digital foundation for the road ahead.
