Cameroonian poet, Alemnge Boris aka Pen Boy is set to release his first spoken word album. Pen Boy made revealed the title of his first album as he marked his birthday on June 5th, three weeks after his Ubuntu show.

A second reason, he went on, is to “call for a more inclusive world, a world without bias as to gender, colour, nationality and disability.”

Currently one of Anglophone Cameroon’s most prominent poets, Boris and his Stage Life troupe continue to thrill many in cities across the country. Getting to this level he admits, was an arduous task.

“2017-parents got divorced, 2018-started my own art movement, 2019-dived into self-discovery,” he wrote on his birthday. Pen Boy in the same post mentioned that he quit school and his job subsequently, just to follow his passion.
